Well, I got my camaro fixed, and the mustang should arrive in the next couple of hours.

I now have own two cars, and I can't drive either of them. One's out of state, and the other won't start.

Well, it's done. I bought myself a second car. It's a 1971 Mustang, one of the last cars before Ford started putting emission control in their vehicals. It drives, and doesn't look too bad, but it could always look better. And by the time I'm done with it, I hope to have it looking something like this:

Well, I just saw the new War of the Worlds, and all in all, I'll say it was a decent film. The introduction is taken straight from the novel of over a century ago, and several other aspects are recognizable from the 1953 film version. Well...my checkride went well. Only made two minor mistakes. I passed.

Tomorrow is my checkride. The one flight where I have to prove that in the 51 weeks of training and 11 flights I've had, I know everything about my job I need to. I'm terrified.

From the 1st to the 11th, I'm not really doing anything. My parents are coming here for the airshow on the 4th of July weekend. There's an AWACS on display, and I'll be able to show them exactly what I do for a living. Just landed from my pre-eval flight. The one that I woke up at 4 am to catch. I get there, go through my preflight, and as i'm waiting for us to taxi to the runway, the flight deck discovers a hydrolic pump failure in the #2 engine. We don't takeoff til about 9:30. Ok, so I'm back from Arizona. I've been back since thursday, but I've been too busy trying to recover from whatever it was I picked up while I was there. I'm told it's walking pneumonia.
