She wiggled her toes on the table, smiling as she closed the bottle of nail polish, and blew at her now pink toenails. She had her hair tied back and wore a comfy pink camisole and some blue-jean denim shorts, and had her TV on food Network, a random teen magazine on her table by her feet. It was nice to relax like this, after everything that

And at first, he didn't say anything. He said hello, at least. Then there was nothing. There was no right way to tell her, "I blew up a wall in my house, so I cannot stay there with my brother angry with me."
So instead, the only words he said were, "I sort of, ah, need a place to stay."

She sort of stared at him for awhile, her face flushed, having nothing to say. She couldn't say no, after all, he was the guy she wanted to date her friend; but.. wow, this was very sudden.
"Uhm. Kay." She stepped out of the way to let him in, and just kind of scratched her head, wondering if this was the smart thing to do. Because it's not everyday the cute guy you liked for awhile popped over and asked to stay in your tiny one bedroom house.

And once he got comfortable, well, let's just hope that Ophelia has her listening ears. "I got annoyed with my brother," he said, fixing his wrist guards. "I made one accident with one of the walls in our house, and he kept nagging at me!"

Wait, what. "What happened to the wall?" She knew this was probably a bad question right after she asked it.

He pauses as soon as he walks in and sees the bed. Which belongs to a girl. A girl he's interested in. A girl he's kissed before. A girl he's ooooh, crap, what did he just agree to do? He was going to share a bed with a girl.
Now he's doing everything in his power not to freak out or spazz.

"Err... is something.. wrong?"
She frowns a little, hoping he won't change his mind.

....when she saw the kitchen, she had to rub her eyes to make sure it wasn't a nightmare. "Wh..wha... WHAT'S GOING ON?!"

Scowling at him, she stomps over, shoves him out of the way, and opens a cabinet, handing him some pop-tarts. "THERE. Now if you didn't destroy the toaster like you did the REST of my kitchen, you can have some breakfast," she growls. With that, she starts mumbling things in Spanish and starts to clean up. She does, however, let one thing slip in English: "..why should I clean his mess?.."

After coughing off a powder cloud, he glared at her. Lightning wasn't planning on fighting with food anymore. He didn't want to get more gross looking than he already was.
... Wait. Ophelia was wet, wasn't she? Lightning wasn't planning on hurting her. But he did have an evil idea.
"You have had static shocks before, right?" he asked. He raised his fingers up, and small sparks came from them. "I have plenty of them." Ophelia better be prepared. This boy doesn't need to rub his feet on a carpet to get the same effect!

She backed away slowly, eyes wide. "Y-you wouldn't!!" she stuttered.
And she had to stop herself from smirking when she had an idea. She poked out her bottom lip, pouting just slightly, and sniffled. "B-but.. I thought we were just playing!" she said, using her 'i am but a helpless little girl' voice.

With that, the faucet popped off the sink, and a steady stream of water was aiming straight for Lightning. "WHAT was that about shocking me?!" she asked with a laugh. She cut off the flow of the water after he was good and drenched again; after all, she wasn't really aiming to hurt him, and she didn't know exactly how much water he could take. Ophelia smirked, crossing her arms. "Might want to think about who you're threatening next time," she winked. "But hey, at least you're not covered in flour anymore."

She led Lightning outside with a blanket though instead of to the couch and table, and they ate outside. One good thing about the Nexus? She managed to find a spot where it was always warm!
After they finished the meal, she laid back on the blanket and closed her eyes, stretching out. I guess this is going to be a good day after all, she thought. "So!" Ophelia chriped, "was the food good?"

When they were sitting outside, and when she asked that question, he didn't really answer at first. He was paying too much attention to the sky. He did answer after a moment, though! "It was," he said. He tilted his head as he observed something, and said, "That cloud looks like a pig."
