Martin bought me a Kindle for my early christmas present. I've so far down-loaded all of Shakespeare's plays, sonnets ect... all of Jane Austen ect... Books I need for class and books I've wanted to read but did not have the time I've got a sample and I'm waiting for time to read them. I thought when I first got the gadget it would be a novelty.

I can't read gobs of text on a computer monitor due to eye strain, but I hear the Kindle is quite readable.

A clipping is sort of like highlighting, I take it? I can't read something for school and not highlight or write in the margins. Even if all I'm writing is "Socrates is such a jerk!"

You can change the font size on kindle

If you got lots of reading you can make the font bigger or smaller. A clipping is like highligting except you've transferred the portion you've saved to a template on the kindle. No writing in the margins althought - I don't have to shuffle through books in my back pack - I bring out one slim kindle and open it up and get to work - I can also read while I'm out and about on as many books as my brain will let me.

I have to admit, I do not care for online reading. I want the text in my fat, grubby fingers.

Have lots to catch up - by the way I'm writing a book - it's thinly veiled fiction - think about it if that crazy Murder at the war book is still get sold and is listed on Amazon - I got one in me !!!!

I'll call it maiming at the other war - it will be a novella - as Gulf wars is shorter - just kidding
