Oh, yeah, Strategicon is this weekend! It's been ages since I've gone to one of those. Give me a call if it happens (and assuming you want company); cyberpilate may be in town for a Dr. Who convention, but I might be able to drag her away from that for a while. Even if I can't, I'd still like to go.

And hey, who gets loot on Valentine's Day? I thought I was spoiled!

My parents always got me loot on Valentimes day. Nothing big, but little things and some candy. This year they got me a $20 gift card to target. w00t!!

I first encountered gifts to non-smoochy types in my late teens. If you were alive at all then, you would have been very young, so it may have been around the same time.
