I was thinking I could successfully ignore what day it was today. Even while wearing a pink shirt (I'm trying out pink - go figure). However, the 'cuteness' that has pervaded the office is starting to cross the line into the realm of the offensive. I may have to say something. Perhaps to the effect of "Some people do not have a significant other

I'm doing a lot of saying happy v-day to friends and co-workers and acro bases. I feel like spreading it out to cover more than just cutesy coupley stuff maybe does some good.

I tried that a couple of times, but I think the general atmosphere at work got to me instead. I don't usually get to see friends during the week - just people at work. Oh well! Maybe next year? :)

It is an extremely pink and frilly holiday when done without thought. Al and I declared it Thursday and had a nice Esselon lunch with no overtones.

The whole frilly thing plus some extra irritation at work got to me today. And I probably didn't sleep enough. I'm much better now, though!! :)
