I have about ten thousand questions which are graduate school application related, but those are entirely for my benefit. So, here we go:
1) Now that you're a PhD student of English, what do you want to write about? 2) What is your most vivid memory of China? 3) Can there be any reconciling of one's academic work/career/etc with one's personal attatchments? 4) Do you think the questions about God/Life are worth asking? 5) What do you think is the most important quality of being in love?
(Sorry if that last one is strange, I spent a while thinking about it, and that is the closest to what I wanted to get at. Interpret it as you like. And please write me an email about armadillos! Have you got a post address now?)

oh, and the decemberists are pretty much the soundtrack to everything i do and know, so that's fair enough for me. new album in october (with tour to ensue!)
i love and miss the shit out of you and am dead set on sojourning to your area of the nation sometime after i turn 21. i do have a vehicle now, so that would make it a bit easier.
