I've switched from soy milk to almond milk for most of my milk needs (morning latté, oatmeal, baking) but still buy 1% to put in my tea and therefore have to drink cup after cup as the deadline approaches because for some reason buying the 500 ml terrifies me that I'll run out ( Read more... )

Sounds like a lovely, tea-filled life. Julie's a big tea person too -- you should see her tea cupboard.

We're having a flypocalypse at our house lately. I think it's the invading squirrel's fault, as he left extra holes in our ceiling that seem to have given passage to many extra flies. Our fly paper is polka-dotted with housefly carcasses. And last night, we had our first mouse of the fall -- a baby mouse, too. Needless to say, the cats didn't let it get far from its hiding spot underneath our fridge.

Oh the rodents! We are prone to mice because of how close we are to the harbour. So far no rats though! That... I would have a difficult time handling.

Thanksgiving was a festive fun time! Back to the grind this eve.
