After yet another hectic cross-country move here I am in Edmonton with my husband (?!) having taken up a postdoctoral fellowship at the U of A (!?). The past six weeks have been a complete bloody whirlwind and if I ever get it into my head to move again during the holidays please put me out of my self-inflicted misery. At least we're just still

Thanks so much! The project itself is super duper fun. I'm working on (undertheorized) Canadian poet and playwright Wilfred Watson. Right now I'm just dipping my toe in the archives and preparing to interview people in the theatre community he worked with in the 60s.

Glad to hear you're getting all settled into things out there! I rather like Edmonton. I knew someone who once referred to Edmonton as "Winnipeg with funding". :P

Ha! And here I always referred to Winnipeg as "Edmonton with architecture."
