Hades was in his office, flicking through TV channels. He paused on a documentary in German about leprosy. He didn't understand all that well German, but eh, he wasn't really paying attention anyway.

Rikku dragged a large box down the hallway, knocked on the door frame while still (hopefully) out of sight, and then ran for it.

Hades narrowed his eyes at the empty door frame and got up to investigate. He looked down at the box.

The box was a standard cardboard box. Dark black marker scrawled on the top announced that this was a CARE PACKAGE!!!!! FOR HADES!!!!!!!

Well, it had his name on it. He turned and looked at the rabid opossum that had taken up residence in his office. "You open it first."

The rabid opossum, whose name was John Jacob Astor, ran and took a flying leap over to the box. There was some frothing at the mouth involved but he opened the box. When it didn't explode, Hades waved him away with a ham steak, which John Jacob Astor promptly devoured.

"Let's see what's in here."

Rory was carrying a rolled-up...something, and knocked politely on the door.

"I thought you weren't talking to me anymore." Sometimes he made stuff up.

She rolled her eyes. "My students made you something."

"Lemme get this straight. They're letting you teach now?"
