Okay, the only thing is I have work at 1:30 on Sunday. John, I believe, has the entire weekend off. Is this acceptable? If anything, I can just go to work and he can play with the babies while I am away?

This is totally fine! The dogs love his beard! Also I will probably not be back super late on Sunday so he wouldn't have to stay too long, I just don't like them to be in their kennels for longer than 6 hours. Let me know what your favorite kinds of beers are and I will get you yummy Whole Foods frozen pizzas or some other food if you prefer!
