Young college students taking classes together. I guess we're not that diverse a demographic. But it's still surreal to be standing in a large, impromptu group in a school lounge where every single person responds, almost in unison, "You're locked in here with me."

It was the second half of a quote from Watchmen, which it seems like every single student at my school went to see over the weekend.

That, I honestly don't know. There were a million different conversations going on and I was doing homework. I just caught enough of the first half that I had to join in saying the second half, which I think was what happened to most people in the area. It's like a compulsion.

So what did you think of the movie? Did you read the graphic novel first? How's school going? Sorry I haven't been better in touch, between work-hell and applying for grad school I've been crazy busy!! I miss you! Let me know if you're ever free and I'll try to visit or something.... hell sometime after April 8th I'll be jobless and therefore free just about all the time and therefore better able to be social! :)

Hehe, I totally just left a comment on your journal about getting together sometime. Great minds think alike. But yeah. School's going swimmingly, although I will be quite happy to see the end of this quarter. Let's see... I have spring break from the twenty-first to the twenty-eighth. If it's after that, we'll probably have to meet somewhere in Chicago (or at least accessible by L) unless it's a weekend and we plan ahead ( ... )
