Rejoice, for Tom Hardy
is taking a major role in the next Nolan-directed Batman. & you just know that rolling off Inception, and the last Batman, this film is a surefire blockbuster & guaranteed to be of at least decent quality.
Anyways, here's the thing about T-Hard: he is a talented chameleon actor. He's played raging murderous psychopaths, gay gangsters, straight gangsters, mentally disabled troubled young men, sheepish young men, Bill Sykes, Robert Dudley, a Star Trek villain, etc. he is almost unrecognizable from role to role. he reminds me a bit of gary oldman really. who coincidentally will be co-starring with T-Hard in Batman AND Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy! I was just reading an article that moaned the world is short on actors who can play lovers as well as fighters & that's why Daniel Craig is a treasured resource. Well, I'm pretty sure T-Hard can step up to that plate.
So yes, TOM HARDY. All of his upcoming projects sound really good.
He'll rock all of them!
Yes, this clown.
Come along, hop on!
You know who ELSE is a pretty good actor (& whose filmography is actually similar to T-Hard's in terms of dark, morally ambiguous, &/or random roles)?
<3 I think JGL's inability to look older than 15 unless he makes a really big effort hampers him though. I watched something where he played a doctor, & I was just like, "you look waaay too young to be a doctor."
& he might be cast in the next Batman too, in another role. wouldn't that be exciting? Chris Nolan likes to recycle his favorite actors. Alas, Ken Watanabe already had his Batman spotlight.
