The shopping center was filled with people going about the errands. Ritsuko sat at a round table at one of the many cafes in the area. She was with a group of three other girls. Chika sighed as he came to a stop in front of the cafe Ritsuko was at. In his hand was a small bag of items he bought from the pharmacy store earlier. The jr. high student did not trust his sister to do the errand shopping, so he braved the cowards of housewives to get needed house hold items on a major sale. "...but now I am thirsty." mumbling to himself he looked at the cafe, and decided to treat himself to a milk tea. That idea firm in his head, he decided yes, I deserve one milk boba tea. Ritsuko had her compact open as she reapplied her lip gloss. Whenever she was single, she picked up the habit of apply heavier make-up than she would normally. It was through her mirror that she saw the new boy walk in.

One of her friends inconspicuously watched Chika enter and immediately began to indicate to Ritsuko to look over. She didn't have to because Ritsuko was already looking back. The boy wasn't bad looking at all. He was well dressed and didn't look sleazy. He didn't look like the type that would use her like the other boys she had been running into.

She watched Chika, making it obvious that she was.

Buying his drink Chika was content to find a place to sit but froze feeling eyes on him. Slowly he turned to the direction of the girls, his eyes landing on each of them before giving a soft smile and a small wave.

Ritsuko did not hear her friends whispering amongst each other, but when Chika looked their way, she couldn't miss the giggles that arose from the two. Ritsuko could feel her cheeks burning from blushing. The boy had a striking appearance. She was so entranced that she didn't notice the waving motion her friends were making, inviting the boy over.
