As was originally established in Lawrence’s profile but never really paid attention to by me (because I’m stupid sob) Lawrence has already been at Adessi Hall for 2 years and is just now entering his third year at the school. During the summer, he tried to apply for an internship at Abaton’s police department, but upon completing his application ( Read more... )

So how long before Lynne has to clock Lawrence across the face this time? J/K : P.

Based on how they interacted in previous Velvet, I don't think it's impossible for Lynne and Lawrence to get along and Lynne's a sap with a long streak of patience sooo vill see.

Dunno if Lawrence or Lynne have met yet but Lynne hangs around the library or can occasionally be seen in the courtyard so they might've bumped into each other at some point, if not seen each other at least.

Yeah, I still maintain that Lawrence and Lynne could be friends eventually. It seemed a bit like they were inching towards that with the last thread they did together, so we'll see. I hope so, anyway. I get the feeling that they would probably get along somewhat well (when he isn't jumping from conclusion to conclusion rampantly, lool.)

I think at the very least he knows who she is just by seeing her. Maybe not her name. He probably hasn't spoken to her unless she approached him for whatever reason, but he probably knows of her.

In letters, I kind of doubt Theo would ever reach out first, and he's probably going to end up mailing other 2012 kids first before he gets to Lawrence, so by then he may already have an idea of Lawrence's habits. if he's heard of Lawrence's tendency to jump to conclusions before Lawrence actually does so in letters, Theo won't seriously contribute until he's double-checked through notes with others. Actually Theo may even try to encourage him if it's going to absolutely annoy someone he's not happy with.

In person? I can only imagine the one-upmanship battles between these two.

Hahaha. In terms of letters, I think Lawrence would probably reach out first. I can't see why he'd deviate from what he did last time what with writing letters to characters in 1934 to gather information about the situations/compare and contrast notes and stuff. Lololol Theo can most certainly try. Lawrence is very easily persuaded if the right information is given to him (see: Oscar /shot).

OH YES. There will be so many of these battles. EVENTUALLY, when Lawrence learns that all he does is jump to a bunch of conclusions without doing any real concrete investigating, I think it might be possible that the two could come to some sort of mutual understanding, or at least reach indifferent (or even friendly!) terms. That is, if Theo can respect someone coming to understand and correct their faults.

Theo isn't going to hold back on the fact-checking. Ever. Prepare for worst commentary.

Theo LOVES it when people understand and correct their faults. Especially if he feels he was part of the reason why they did so. He just hates it when people seriously point out flaws of his own the he needs correcting. Guiding people into a group and in-line with the community's morals is his whole arcana deal anyways.

Ahahahaha oh Theo, lol. Lawrence is certainly prepared. He might do some fact-checking of his own.

Oh, well, I have a feeling Lawrence will be doing both of those. So at one moment he'll be making progress by correcting his faults, but at the same time taking a step back by pointing out Theo's. This will be both interesting and hilarious.
