I think so. I was on ciproflaxin for my UTI's for 6 months - and they only worked on my symptoms for about 1 month - and then the effects wore right off. With this treatment, I have noticed, I don't swing *RIGHT* back to square one, which I did, when I took the Cipro. It's a milder flare - but some parts of it can be exagerrated - it's like one main symptom flares just to make a point or something

well then it sounds like you are getting better in spite of the setbacks, and that is good. Have the doctors given you any idea of when you might start feeling more of a recovery?
No idea - it's such a stab in the dark, as only a % of a tick survivors do get better. It takes some people a few YEARS on antibiotics - and IV at that. I don't have that option, for me, I can only hope, I will see some improvement, even if it's just not having fever in the mornings - that would make a huge difference. ( I cannot sleep when I am febrile ). The specialist sais I am in remission if I don't have symptoms for 6 weeks, other people say, 3 months...
