Post- since we'll be in Canada, where I'm told maple syrup comes from. More specifically, there's a maple store in downtown Vancouver, which we'll probably be visiting later this week...

Re: #2 The candy or the actual leaves of a Sugar Maple tree? Maple candy makes me mouth water. I had my honeymoon in Vermont and I came home with a suitcase stuffed with the candies! lol The leaves are pretty but don't have quite the same effect. ;)

Re. #5 Fire makes everything better. And marshmallows are pretty darn good to begin with. Bella has decided that she really likes marshmallows too.

Re: #4 I tend to nest too, but I'm obsessed with pillows and cushy mattress pads. I get too hot when I sleep to use more than a light blanket.
