i've been writing songs like crazy.  but i can only write like a verse and a chorus at the most before i go blank.  at least they're inspired and not created, though.  not much to say.  i'm looking forward to seeing as many old friends as possible this week.  i'm getting my new 6.2 mp Fuji Finepix either today or tomorrow, so that should be fun.

and ya know, the funny thing is...i'm not afraid of going over there. i'm not afraid of getting shot. i'm not afraid of getting blown up. i'm not afraid of dying at all. i'm afraid of what's gonna be different when i come home. isn't there something wrong with this picture? lol.

I think it says a lot about you and what matters most to you. I see nothing wrong with it. In fact, I'm pretty sure I'd feel the same way. There's no doubt in my mind though, that if you come back different, it'll be for the better. You said yourself you're not alone out there. Just remember that.

even if i assume that other people won't change at all, i know i will. i don't think it would be possible to not be changed. i'll just pray that it's for the better.
