i hung out with jenn moore tonight! because really, we women can't be "beautiful" all the time...we're also all of those things - happy, sad, pissed, with or without makeup, etc. It's nice to see it's appreciated. =)

i don't get on there much at all, cos so many people have my s/n that it makes it REALLY hard to get anything done. of course, i'd talk to YOU if you im'd me, but probably 75% of the people who try to talk to me on there just annoy the heck out of me. but maybe you'll catch me on there sometime soon. i'll make a special effort for you. lol.

it's the hardest thing i've ever done. and unless you go to one of those new experimental "stress free" basics training units, it's gonna be tough on you psychologically, too. i wanted to fight everyone who even looked at me wrong. i thought i'd never get home. i couldn't wait to be away from that place. and then when i did get home, i found out that i was cold-hearted and bitter. it took me probably a year to completely get back to my old self.

but...it's also the most fun thing i've ever done. all the cool training that i got to do was the best. i still brag about some of it to people. i came home in the best shape of my life (side note: do PT on your own every time you get a chance, even if you're dead tired. you won't regret it). i met lots of cool people that i still try to keep in touch with. as a matter of fact, there's a guy from my basic training platoon who ended up getting attached to my unit for deployment. when the drill sergeants scream at you, just realize that you'll never do anything right in their ( ... )
