hey, Boston is NOT at all a bad choice. Actually that was my original destination after grad school, but, as happens, I got sidetracked along the way.

Horace! You know the gnomes! There is this great book called (loose translation) The Secret Book of Gnomes (Heinzelmaenchen) that goes into all the history of the gnomes around the world. Have you ever seen/read it? It's great. **Thinks of name for gnome**.

I have not, but I'll have to look for it. I have the Gnomes book that looks like it belongs with the other Brian Froud books but isnt really part of the set.
