I think I saw exactly that from the UK tonight except that Venus was directly under the moon, which looks like the stars may be "right", which tends to make nervous those who read too much HPL and an impressionable age.

The G1 camera is not scoring very big with me. Don't install "snapphoto" which allegedly adds code to adjust for stability but mostly seemed to dick around so much I could never get it to work in time to get the picture I needed.

Did you hand-hold the camera???? If so, that is amazingly still actualy.
