Thank you, everyone who has contacted me regarding Lauri's death.  It's amazing how much all the love and support have helped me andmadelineusher .  I don't know what I did to deserve a circle of friends like you all, but I'm very glad I did it.

The best medicine I think is to get out and live, as you are doing. That is what helped me through the sudden death of my father. For the first week, I stayed at home because I felt I couldn't cope with normal life. But all that did was make the grief and depression worse. Once I forced my self to get back to living, it made the grief much easier to deal with. It was like once I saw the world carrying on as normal, it made me realize I could get through it, that the world wasn't ending after all.
