Piglet flu and Star Sapphire...oh my!

I came down with the flu last Wednesday.  Given all the news coverage, it's hard not to think "OMG swine flu!", but I'm reasonably sure it's just regular old flu.  I'm calling it "piglet flu" -- like swine flu, only smaller.

My recovery process was not helped by the fact that I had about 14 hours of continuous work to do on Saturday, as we installed ( Read more... )

Dunno if "just regular old flu" is a good thing, given that it still kills thousands in this country--far more than swine flu will.

In most of the U.S. cases, swine flu is behaving just like regular old flu. Please get to the doctor so they can culture it; even if you're fine, it helps them track the spread of the disease.

Good suggestion. Beyond the public benefit, it would certainly be interesting to know, one way or another.

Wow, it IS like old times...CB showing up for Lodge Events after having had the flu...back back in the Baphomet daze I think the main vector was your preschool aged daughter.

I too mysteriously had the flu Tuesday two weeks ago thru Thursday. All upper respiratory (starting with PND) and then the worst on Wednesday with all over body ache and just feeling WORN THE HELL DOWN.

I think there's a difference between dedication and irresponsibility. Every public health source I've seen says that if you have symptoms STAY HOME!!!!
