Oh yeah! Sorry.

There's still Bodhi Choi Heung, and today I went to one of the other places recommended in that article - 3G - which was good, but not the same, dammit.

Oh no! Was that scandalously delicious buddhist vegan place you took me to, with Kevin P? With the non meat made of gluten? I have fantasized about going there again on future trips to Vancouver, and now I am sad.

No, that was Bodhi Choi Heung, and it's still there. But you and I did go to Bo Kong - we biked there one day.

I'd forgotten that you'd been as well - if they went out of business, at least I can say that I and my out-of-town friends did our part.

...however, now that you mention this place, at least there is a contender for somewhere I must now try. There's a whole collection of good-looking little restaurants right near Fraser and King Ed. I must get on that.

Just say the word and I'll join you at Bodhi Choi. Lately I've been going alone and eating dim sum, but they have massive and cheap and delicious main courses that are best shared.

As someone who usually eats meat with meals, I'm sad to see that go. I guess I'll have to go next time I'm on a 4-hour layover at YVR.

They didn't ask me either. Bastards.

One commenter, who seems to know what's what, says Bo Kong plans to reopen when they find a new space. I hope that's true, and I hope that the new space isn't some place silly like Burnaby or downtown.
