"Hear me, castai-oi -- my protector and my companion," he said, his hand outstretched, his wide eyes pleading. "Do not forget me."

Oh, oh my. This is absolutely... no, I'm sorry, I am completely without words. This is history and love, and such an original way of looking at Castiel's evolution, as a spirit that changes with time but stays constant nonetheless, tied to Dean by all the different forms of his name.

So much love for this. Really. ♥

Oh god, what she said, 'cause she's way better with words...this was epic, but for real, not just as a way of speech.
All of this is beautiful and so original and inspired, but the ending wraps it up in such a way that you look at it in a different light. I'll need to re-read it.
Just. Fantastic. I have no words.

Ah, thank you for saying that! I like making things with many layers going on at once, and I hope they hold up upon re-reading.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts with me.

This is so beautiful, and graceful, and has a gentle sadness to it, and, um, also the sex scene is SMOKING hot. Guh. Really really wonderful.

Kay, combining two things I love (history and this pairing), I'm just grinning over here. This was beautiful and sad and lovely and... have I said beautiful?

Very well done.
