Bravo! The fact is Israelis want peace. The palestinians, well, it depends on whether or not there is group think going on at the given time. That was a nice anti-Israel diatrabe, i mean you would never condemn the palestinians, right? Please tell me, since 1993 what have the palestinians done to advocate peace?

"It’s very important to make the distinction between terror groups and freedom fighters, and between terror action and legitimate military action."

I'm still waiting to see anybody viable definition of the difference. The only difference history has ever shown was that it depended on which side for whom one was rooting. :-(

You know, i don't know what exactly it is you're trying to say here. You bring in so many outside quotes, but fail to really get across any points accept that you legitamize palestinian terrorists. I condemn all terrorists, including Jewish terrorists including those in the pre-state period, baruch goldstein, the awol soldier from a year ago, and those that have attacked arabs over the last 6 years. But apparently you believe that b/c of the pre-state Jewish terrorists, it is ok for the pre-state palestinians to do the same. (and as a side note there were arabs back then attacking both the british and jews in mandate-palestine.)

But i shouldn't be surprised, you're just another typical person who belongs to the anti-Israel crowd rather than being a pro-Palestinian.

I certainly never said nor suggested this. I think acts of terrorism lead to more acts of terrorism. You might argue that this explains the whole history of Israel, in fact.

As I said in the original piece, I dread to think what will be the consequences of Israel's current terrorist attacks in Palestine and Lebanon. And I would imagine that people in Israel must feel the same way. Or is it that, like Tony Blair, most Israelis simply refuse to recognise the connection between the actions of their Government and the actions of those who oppose those actions?

It's gratifying to think that there are people in Israel who oppose acts of state violence. Is there any chance of that opposition taking an organised form, especially in the light of this apparently deliberate attack?

Apparently this teacher (and i use the term lightly) is a propagandist, and he/she lets others form thoughts for him/her and then doesn't defend him/herself.
