However, the alternate-Janeway failed in her usage of the machine against me; no doubt because she was operating it "by the book" and did not take into account the specifics of Vulcan physiology and mental abilities. If this Ifix is anything like "my own" ifix, I should expect him to be far more flexible and creative. "Vulcans not suffer yet?" he shall most likely say, "Ifix!"
evil_storvik communicated to me earlier that he had received significant training in resistance to torture and interrogation techniques. I may not have had similar formal training; but I am certain that the experiences which I have had over the years on the uss_murgatroid have provided me with similar abilities in resistance nonetheless

It is unfortunate that, for now at least, they are allowing this machine to "soften us up"; if only our captors would come into physical contact with us, we could attack them with tur pli am.
