Is anyone else? I just realized that today, that's what this feeling is. I know that being married to the greatest person in the world, having a job, blah blah blah. I wouldn't trade being married to Jonathan for anything in the world. But, my job, that I would trade. Is it really going to make a difference if I sell 10 pairs of pants, or only ( Read more... )

right now I think I am too tired to be bored with life. But i have been there before. My goal for everyday is to stay awake til nap time, and then again til bed time (like 9). LOL

Life isn't boring over here right now....but I do know what you mean. I once heard someone (a precher-type someone) say that it doesn't matter what you do (as long as you're not a hit-man or stripper)...you're ultimately working for the Lord. While it may not actually matter how many pants you sell, you might be the beacon in someone's otherwise horrible day. Think of how many people self-medicate with "retail therapy." Your smiling face may be the only one they see.

True, yesterday, a customer asked for the customer service number so she could call them and tell them what an awesome job I did of trying to locate a jean jacket for her. I couldn't find one, I even called a Toronto store and had them try to find one in the computer. I probably spent about 45 minutes helping her. I'm waiting for my district manager to get the voicemail from corporate telling her about it. Then, she'll put a voicemail out to our district to let them know how awesome I am. We didn't have any other customers in the store, so I figured I might as well help her locate the thing she wanted. So, that was a bright spot in my day yesterday. The low spot was getting sick, I'm so addicted to the Zicam swabs. Jonathan thinks I'm crazy.

I can't use the Zicam nose goo.........it makes me violently sneeze for 10 mintues.
