Not that many still use livejournal, but I'm moving to dreamwidth. Mostly because of the increasing number of ads and security issues.

C is in his bed doing is nightly impression of an abandoned child. A and I are hanging out, putting the scraps of the day away and winding down on the internets. We're all a month older, but it only makes a difference to the boy. A and I haven't changed much in a month. • Baby: He got his first real hair cut. It makes him look much more like a little boy and less like a baby. Such a little thing makes a huge difference. He's talking off and on. There were two really stubborn pins to remove and the press would be stripped and ready to take in to get sandblasted, as using chemical stripping agents at home was a horrible mess and not terribly effective. I got more aggressive penetrating oil and started working on hammering the pins out ( Read more... )

The press handle did not want to come out of the fitting. Since the moving parts are, for the most part, pegged together with tension set steel pins. There are two large (slightly bigger than 3/4 inch)pegs at the main connection points. Once of these main points is held together by the shaft for the handle ( Read more... )
