This is a monumental undertaking, and IT HAS BEEN GOING ON SINCE BEFORE THE HURRICANE HIT. PLEASE communicate that to the people in New Orleans and elsewhere as they angrily await their turn. PLEASE communicate that to the people of the world who have come to the false conclusion that Americans are slow to act and care nothing for the victims of Hurricane Katrina. To do anything else should be a crime.
The above part seems to be all people are ranting about now.. "were slow to react" ugh. Sparky your sister is right. This is a HUGE operation, and some planing has been going on.
I didn't have time to read this thoroughly because I have family over atm (will read again as soon as everyone leaves)..but I am a newbie member of Kiwanis in Henderson. If your sister knows of anyone that wants to come to a meeting and talk about the hurricane efforts let me know. They do schedule presentations pretty far in advance and I'm not sure what the schedule is like, but I would do my best to get them in as soon as possible.
