Word of Honor thoughts
1. It's a nice coincidence that just like in Trapped, the vengeful male lead eventually realises that taking revenge only leads to trapping yourself in a prison of endless plotting and self-destruction. *pause to squee for both Trapped and WoH* I like how Wen Kexing analyzes his own motivations.
2. I need a full drama series about Qiye and Wu Xi's backstories.
3. Despite knowing the novel ending, I can't help hoping against hope that Gu Xiang and Cao Weining make it out.
4. What is it something about wuxia dramas that causes its male characters to look so stunning in red? (See: Wen Kexing; Wei Wuxian; also Si Feng)
4b. That rescue by Wen Kexing, wearing red. And when he acknowledged himself as the second disciple.
4c. And him taking in all those other disciples as new disciples, while Zhou Zishu, after learning about it, is like, "Oh, all right" when he never bothered to take on a single disciple before, just because it is Wen Kexing who did it. (Well, I guess that's not the whole reason, but...)
5. That hair combing by Wen Kexing for Zhou Zishu and giving him the hairpin. It's very bride and bridgegroom. -_-;;;; It's ominiously echoed when Wen Kexing goes back to the Ghost Valley, though.
6. I'm sobbing on the inside at how Wen Kexing's guilt at inadvertently exposing his parents' hiding spot haunted him forever. You were a child, and you were tricked! It is not your fault.
7. No one ever dies from falling off a cliff. (Just like in K-dramas. ^_^)
