Ella's surgery bills

Update on 9/5: Six weeks after her accident, Ella is now wandering the house and leaping up on beds and bunks and other things that need cat hair on them. She has a limp, which is probably permanent, but she's not letting that stop her. Read the full update here.

Update on 8/1: Ella is doing well! Anne got a second opinion from a surgeon, who said

Watching her make biscuits on Anne while Anne skritches her into a trance is one of the most adorable things I've ever seen. Here's hoping she gets well and can do it again.

Thank you so much. One day more until the vet can (hopefully) get her into surgery... She has meds, but she's been miserable for far too long.

*nods* I can imagine how I'd feel if it were my little furgirl - it's bad enough taking her to the vet for her allergies that make her scratch herself half to death, I would hate something so huge as poor Ella's mishap. I hope it wasn't deliberate, however it happened. Poor kitten. She's a beautiful girl.
