I adore Madeline Peyroux. That voice... so wonderful... Billie Holliday'ish... but a little younger, more modern, maybe a bit lighter, but just as full of depth... this song doesnt showcase her

Have you heard the song she sings that goes: "...if you think that time will change your ways, don't wait too long." ? That's the only one I've heard by her, but I really liked her sytle.

It is apparently a 'jazz classic' written by some dude named Armand J. Piron and covered by about 30 million different artists, so I have no idea who recorded it first. Also, it was written in like, the 20s, so whoever performed it first probably didn't record it first. ;)

Anyhow, I do have an adorable version by The Ditty Bops, if you don't have it and would like it.
