Alright, first order of business, a music upload ^.~ <3
1. w-inds. - Love is message - Definitely one of my favorite w-inds. songs... I fell in love with it over winter break and have listened to it so many times XDDD (and I'm not sick of it yet so that says something~) ^^
2. Garnet Crow - Flying - Garnet Crow's been around for a while (relatively speaking) and the song's really soothing ^^ Onii-san sent me this song and it's nice to listen to before going to sleep~
3. Libera - Sanctus - This is a song composed by Robert Prizeman and sang by the boy's choir Libera. It has an etheral beauty to it and a very evangelical sound ^^ And damn, those boys can sing high XDDD <3
4. Libera - Agnus Dei - (see #3 for Libera info) I love this song with its similar beauty to Sanctus. It has a different feel to it though and reminds me of Bratja from FMA. A must-download I swear~ <333
5. Prince of Egypt - When You Believe - A classic with Mariah Carey and Whitney Huston, one of my favorite songs from animated films~ Both of them have such amazing voices XD <3 And the song itself is really nice~
6. Hei Bang - A-Yo - *ahem* This song might be hard for people to accept.. erm, just try to keep an open mind? ^^;; I swear the song grows on you~ ... *ahem* it's uh, a Chinese Hip-hop/Rap song ^^;; Yeah... you're totally free to laugh for the 'Azn trying to be black' parts XD I know I gawked when I first heard it and couldn't help cracking up XDD but it does grow on you once you get past the 'OMGs it's Asian people trying to be black XDDDD *lmao*' part ^^; They're really not that bad~ <3 <---- futile plea for her liking the song XD <3
7. Lord of the Rings Symphony [Johan de Meij] - V - Hobbits - Like the title says, this is a Lord of the Rings Symphony arranged by Johan de Meij~ This movement's alike to the Ist one (Gandalf) except with a more light-heartedness - they both have that one part that I absolutely adore~ (you'll probably know once you hear it, it's near the end of V and the beginning of I). It's separate from the Howard Shore LotR movies soundtracks stuff and is completely orchestra. Very pretty ^^ Try just closing your eyes and letting the scenes of the book run through your head..
8. G.O.D. - Road - I can't remember if I posted this song before or not *shrugs* Anyways, one of the songs I absolutely adore.. It's Korean and it's good so download ^.~
9. S Club Seven - Never Had a Dream Come True - Most of you probably know this song by S Club Seven already but for those of you who've never heard it, it's a nice song that's worth a listen.
10. Maroon 5 - She Will Be Loved - Download. Listen. XD (and be glad I didn't upload 'This Love' <--- that song gets stuck in one's head soooo easily~ *wonders how many heads she got the song stuck into just by typing out the title* _XDDD)
11. Black Eyed Peas - Where is the Love - I'm so addicted to this song and I'm not even sure why XDDD It amuses me~
I was trying to go for diversity up there XD Download what you want although I recommend all of them (which is why they're uploaded and listed up there ^^) As always, comment, request, etc. <3
Last 2 weekends have been so crazy with Chinese New Year parties~! X.x;; Last Friday's party at Amy's was pretty fun since we watched the New Year Show thing that they taped (and it actually didn't suck as much as the previous couple of years so that was nice ^^;; ). We also managed to play Texas hold'em for 2-3 hours which is like a record for me .....AND I actually won XDD <--- is also a record ^^;; <--- sucks at betting. It probably had something to do with me getting Di to put in all his chips and winning them though *kekeke* ^.~
Yesterday was Chinese School's new year celebration and I got to see Bin again~ <--- hasn't seen him since the last Chinese school event I attended several months ago? but he still owes me a ride in a Mustang even though he already sold his Mustang for a Firebird >.>; And he owes me a ride in his Firebird now too :P The riddles we attempted to guess were fun ^^ Come to think of it, he's changed a lot since when I was in 9th grade and we were in the same Chinese school class.. not just looks-wise but maturity, etc.-wise too... hmmm..
And Tommy's little 7-year-old brother stalked and told me that he likes me X.x; (btw, anyone who knows Tommy, please don't tell him or his brother or say anything about this ^^;;; ) erm yeah, that was awkward... -.-; I was like: 'Uh.... how many times have you actually met/seen me?' (it wasn't a lot ^^;; ) This is even worse than when I was in 4th/5th grade and got hit on by my friend's little 5-year-old brother >.>; . . . I attract 7-year-olds... greeeeat ;_;
So today's Valentine's Day~ In Japanese class, Rodrigeuz-san gave me & Azure-chan yellow roses (probably because we're the only 2 girls in the current class who were from our small <10-people class for JAPN101 last semester). I thought it was thoughtful of him anyhow XD~ I told Song-san that if he was a girl, he would have gotten a rose from Rodrigeuz-san too _XDDD (and come to think of it, Fominykh-san too probably XDDD) I miss our old class, Azure-chaaaaan~! ;_;
I made chocolate today, as according to the Japanese thing where the girls make chocolates to give out on V-day (and the guys give gifts in return on White Day, March 14th) <---- or so I've heard ^^; Mine's were definitely not nearly as good as Tohru's because 1:I don't have the time or materials and 2:I'm just not a great cook ^^; (even if it was one of those really simplified things _XDD) but still, they count right? ^^; I gave Oniisan a decorated box (a.k.a. a small plastic container w/ a pink clear top, covered on the inside bottom with tissue paper) with small marshmellows on the bottom, hershey's hugs all around the inside perimeter and self-made chocolates in the center, all wrapped with a silver tinsely ribbon~ it's because he's onii-san and that's something I should do~ -^^- Onii-san'll always be onii-san desu~ <3
In other news:
I'm really excited about Katsucon!! ^______^ I'll get to see ryomoki, rukawagf, and vikki at least, that I know of~ <3 Who else's going to Katsu? *sniffs at morning_songs for not going ;_; luminati and I are being Niou and Yagyuu for Saturday~ (not telling you who's being who though.. you'll have to figure that out for yourselves) :D It's going to be fuuuun~ *need to work on poses* ^^;
BTW, does anyone who's going to Katsu have a white wig (around shoulder-length) that they're willing to sell/lend to me? ;___; The shipping from buying on Ebay'll take too long and the Party City wigs look kindda bad but I might have to resort to it -.-;
