I have to apologize again for being late in answering the question meme, but I had to finish reading Death Note as soon as I could. And it was worth it.

L-san:
1. What is a misconception about your fandom that you would like to address and correct?
That Evangelion is purely about Mechas. It isn’t, although they play a big part in it.
2. ...What chapter of Death Note are you on?
I just finished it, actually. ^_^
3. What are qualities in a person that you find intriguing, or "fascinating?"
Well, I am fascinated by how the human mind works, in general, but I think I have a special attraction to intelligence, fragility, and cunningness.
4. Coffee or tea? And why?
Tea. The flavour’s more delicate.
5. Handcuffs: Yes or no? O.O
Oh, yes. I do believe you’re also fond of them? Some chapters of Death Note gave me that impression…
Rukia-chan:
1. If you could be doing anything right now, what would you be doing?
Being with Shinji.
2. What do you do when everything goes out of your control?
I try to think about what went wrong, and ways of making things right again.
3. How do you know that it's love?
That’s a difficult question… Any particular reason you asked me that? Love is one of the trickiest (if not the trickiest) human emotions I’ve experienced, and I really don’t know how to describe it. Except that, well, it makes you feel alive. It actually gave a sense to my life, you know? I was merely created with the purpose of being a tool, and I considered life or death to be the same to me. But when I met Shinji… it all changed. It is true that love can hurt (I hurt Shinji… and it kills me everyday to know how much he suffered and is suffering), but once you experience it, you forget about any pain it may bring. Because it makes you feel like the happiest and the most luckiest person on Earth (hell, the whole universe, now we’re at it), and just being with the person you love is enough to make every sacrifice worth it.
But I’m digressing from your question, ain’t I? I knew that it was love when I realized how much Shinji’s happiness meant to me, and how much he meant to me. I died for him (it was either me or him, and the rest of mankind, so I asked for him to kill me), and would do it again, because I can't imagine a world without him.
When you feel butterflies in your stomach because that person smiled at you, when the laughter of that person soothes you, when you feel your breathing accelerating just because you touched them casually, when you feel your body burning just because of a simple kiss… that’s when you know it’s love.

4. If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
I think I’d like to understand humans more. There are sometimes I don’t get them at all.
5. Why did you ultimately decide you did not want to destroy the world?
Well, when it came down to it, I had to chose between my survival and consequent destruction of mankind, or Shinji living and mankind being saved. Shinji didn’t deserve to die, so I asked him to kill me.
Kimbley:
1. How long have you been with Shinji?
Ever since I met him. I don’t know how to quantify that in days, months, or even years, because bnf_brawl seems to disrespect any law of physics whatsoever.
2. How does that AT Field of yours work?
I’m not sure, and I don’t think anyone knows perfectly, either. The only thing I’m sure of is that the AT field is the wall that surrounds a person's soul, and can serve as a physical barrier in protecting the being.
3. I'm in Japan, now, so when are you thinking for this...SEELE, I believe, infiltration?
Soon. I just need to make a few more plans… but if you’re in Japan, it’ll make things easier.
4. Are you prone to infidelity?
Ye-- Depends on the situation, but normally, no. I’m not going to betray Shinji again after what happened with you last time, so I’m definitely not prone to infidelity right now.
5. Would you kill me, if you could?
Now, now… that would be telling, wouldn’t it?
Mello-kun:
1. What do you like most about Shinji?
He is... delicate like glass. That earns my sympathy, and is one of the reasons I love him so much.
2. Since you're not destroying humanity, what do you want to do with your life?
I honestly have no clue… but since I know how to play the piano and the violin, and adore music, I guess that playing in an orchestra would be a very good job.
3. Favorite sexual kink?
Knifeplay I don’t know, really, but I’d say that handcuffs are definitely a nice touch. And so are blindfolds, now I think about it.
4. Favorite book?
I don’t have a favorite book, unless you count a collection of music sheets. I am amazed at how something so simple can turn into something as beautiful and complex as a symphony.
5. What's your pet peeve about fandom?
I don’t really have a pet peeve about anything (I rarely get irritated, actually), but I guess that I dislike the vicious wank, when it happens. It brings out the stupid side of people.

I think I never tried it, so I can’t give you an opinion on that one… Perhaps you could introduce it to me one of these days? ^_^

1. If you could design your own Eva to pilot, what would it look like/what features would it have?
I guess that it could be a mix of the mass production Eva units and Eva unit 02: the looks of Eva 02 and the wings and S2 system of the mass production units. The lance of Longinus would be nice, too, but seeing as the mass production Evas have lances that can turn into that one…
2. If you could live in any fandom you wanted, which would you choose and why?
Maybe Tsubasa Chronicle, so I could travel to different dimensions and meet different versions of myself and others I know.
3. If you could have just one superpower, which would it be?
Hmm… flying, maybe? I never really thought about it, but I guess that flying must make you feel amazingly free.
4. If your Eva could transform like the mecha in Transformers, what would you want it to transform into?
I’d say into a bird-like creature (because of my answer to your previous question), but seeing as the mass-produced Evangelions are equipped with wings… I don’t know. Maybe a fire-spitting Evangelion would be amusing. *chuckle*
5. What motivated you to read Death Note and what do you think of it so far?
Well, I was really curious about it because of the Death Note characters here at bnf_brawl, and then kept going because the plot got me really hooked. I just finished it and I’m officially a fan. :]

Music. I love listening to classical music, and I do enjoy playing the piano or the violin, once in a while.

Despite certain, ah, events, yes. I got to be with Shinji, if only for a little bit, and that was worth it.

Being killed by Shinji. It’s the only way of dying that I’ll accept or even welcome.

If excitement makes you feel alive and commitment makes you feel somewhat close to numb, then excitement. If excitement involves too many risks, and you can have a comfortable and happy life with commitment, then commitment.
