The annual list that nobody everybody is waiting for! May contain a lot of Colin Firth.
9/10 - Star Wars - The Force Awakens - hardly a surprise really. This was destined to be #1 from the moment it was announced.
8.5/10 - Birdman - impressive award worthy drama. Very nearly the film of the year.

8/10 - Prisoners - Jake Gyllenhaal (with porn!hair) and Hugh Jackman in a very intense drama.
8/10 - Cooties - kids get infected and turn into bloodthursty zombies. Funny, gory with weirdly attractive Rainn Wilson and cute as a button Leigh Whannell.
8/10 - Mad Max: Fury Road - a film which basically goes RRRRRRAAAAAARRRRRGGGHHHHHHHHH for 2 hours. Charlize Theron is a fucking badass.
7.5/10 - Kingsman - it ruined my life and launched a million Merlin/Hart slash fics. Most of which I have read.
7/10 - What We Do In The Shadows - amusing low budget New Zealand mock-doc about vampires. You know me and vampire flicks.
7/10 - MacBeth - rugged and handsome, but enough about Fassbender.

6/10 - Anna / Mindscape - Mark Strong is a stubbly detective investigating something to do with mind skillz or something. I got destracted by stubbly!Mark Strong
6/10 - Zero Dark Thirty - worthy but dull film about finding Osama Bin Laden. They found him. Ooops spoiler.
6/10 - Stardust - fantasy film starring every British actor in the world ever. And Robert De Niro in a dress. I wonder how much they paid him for that?

4/10 - Match Point - crappy Woody Allen film. Has the amazing sight of Mark Gatiss playing table-tennis with Scarlett Johansson.
4/10 - What We Did on Our Holiday - semi-improvised 'comedy' about a bunch of kids burning their dead grandfather. Tennant was the best thing in it.

3/10 - Young Victoria - probably historically accurate but it bored the arse off of me.
3/10 - Rock N Rolla - the film which made me break my 'never watch a Guy Ritchie film' rule. It looked pretty, with Idris Elba, Tom Hardy, Gerard Butler and Mark Strong, but the rest of it was just shit.
3/10 - Playmaker - the film that Colin Firth has disowned. He did very nearly get his cock out, which is something I guess.
3/10 - Love Actually - There is not enough fury in my body to explain how much I hated this. The 3 was for Firth, Emma Thompson and Alan Rickman. God bless them for at least trying, and I'm sure the pay check was good.
3/10 - Mamma Mia - the film which had me covering my eyes in horror. And I've seen enough gory grot to sink a ship. The music was good, you cant kill the music, but everything else was awful. Just AWFUL! How did this make money????
3/10 - Bridget Jones-Edge of Reason - hated it hated it hated it. HATED IT! Does not bode well for the third one.
