Not just a number

Mustn't get carried away. It's easy to forget that the number on the screen represents an actual amount of money in my bank account, as opposed to pretend amounts of money as in computer or on line games. It's how some people can get into debt when using credit cards instead of cash I guess ( Read more... )

Yeah, me too. I sometimes find it easier to pull out what I've allocated myself for the week or fortnight and work from there. =) Everything else in the bank account is for savings ... or fair game =X

Yes, I usually work with just cash. I don't have a credit card but have been using PayPal recently, and a bit too much. :)

LOL yeah...

I wish the amounts in games could correspond to the bank accounts IRL. Funny thing too, on WoW I would bust my butt to make money years ago on the AH, and it was so much stress to worry about it in a game and then deal with it in real life. Screw that!

I have a friend on my journal that received a really generous gift just recently and it reminds me that there are so many good people in the world. *hugs*

Yes, why work harder in a game than in real life? At least in game you don't have worry as much about some things you have to pay for, such as food or rent.

The bad people makes us sad (or angry), the good people are much nicer to deal with. :)

Just dropping by to say hello. I can't thank you enough for your gift. It was VERY nice of you and I have to admit I feel a bit guilty. I truly hope you have a fantastic holiday. I'm sure you deserve it. :)

You're welcome.
I'm okay at the moment, although some people might say I'm crazy instead. :)

It was kind of a crazy thing to do, you know. But hey, as long as you're not a danger to yourself or others. ;)

Seriously, thank you. I think I'm still in shock over it! Wow.
