Thunder and lightening send chills through my spine, yet somehow I feel safe. I am not naïve, I know I’m never truly safe, but sometimes rain and thunder have a soothing effect. Right now, my tired eyes are intrigued and totally satisfied with those things that are outside my control.

fat lip

Today I resolve to begin taking siestas.

happy and alive
lacking in discipline
but giving over to it
smiling has become my favorite pastime
