What is the only soymilk you see advertised on television and why? I am finally off silk after having known this for a little over a year. I go with rice milk now.

Yeah, I am a fan of Rice Dream and drink that a lot. As Paul has probably told you, Eden Soy is a Michigan based soy milk. I don't buy a whole lot of soy milk, but I love soy yogurt. My only other option right now is driving to the suburbs for soygurt and I don't wanna do that.
So yeah, not buying silk products will be something I will work on doing.

I heard about Silk and its relation to Dean foods, and I don't know what I should do!

By purchasing Silk, are we supporting the use of animal alternatives? or are we just fueling the cruelty machine?

Yeah, I feel the same way because most companies are not 100% vegan. Most companies have other products or are a subsidiary of another company that sells animal by-products.

The answer for me is to limit how much Silk I buy and try to find alternative companies that have less of an impact on animals and the environment. Eden Organics seems like a good alternative. I just have limited choices within Detroit city limits when it comes to soy yogurt. I know I can get Eden soy milk, but non-Silk yogurt is hard to find.

In some way we are all fueling the cruelty machine. I think the idea is to conciously lessen our impact to the best of our abilities.
