First of all, I don't want to start any arguments or debates in my comment area! I loved the book and you won't change my opinion. All I want to do is give a little of what I thought, because Josh hasn't finished it and I HAVE to talk about it or go insane ( Read more... )

I don't want to spoil anyone reading the comments, but yeah, I totally don't think the chapter with Snape was the full story. I think there's a lot more and I have entire theories as to why, heh.

From the moment that Dumbledore started insisting to anyone with qualms about Snape that he trusted Snape I knew that something bad was going to happen to prove Dumbledore wrong. But shit. This was such a sad and beautiful and depression ending. It leaves me with the feeling of How is this supposed to get resolved now with out the Big Guy? The characterization was much more well developed in this one then the last one. I felt a lot more compassion for all the characters. I always figured that Malfoy would go from being someone we hate to someone we pity. I was not expecting the identity of the Half Blood Prince. My only qualm with Harry’s behavior was that he didn’t talk to Dumbledore about the Prince. Great book all around. Now I want to go back and reread the first five.
