Character Name: Keith Goodman, Sky High
Character Series: Tiger & Bunny
Character Age: Between his late 20’s early 30’s
Background: Wiki Link

Personality:

Keith Goodman is an eternal optimist. His shining quality is his respect towards his job, his friends, and the citizens of Sternbild, the city which he protects as the corporate-sponsored superhero Sky High. He is, with pun intended, an air head who proves to be absent minded at times, though this will never interfere with his steadfast sense of justice. He is energetic, though hardly graceful; he has very stiff movements, which is ironic for a master of air manipulation. His NEXT powers did not manifeest until age 18, unlike most kids who find their powers at much younger ages. This sort of late-bloomer nature shows itself in his personal life as well. He is awkward both physically and socially, and will often miss subtle social ques. He is creative and will improvise if the situation will call for it.

When Keith dons his Hero suit and assumes the persona of Sky High, little changes about him personally, but his determination towards keeping justice takes the center stage. He is often first to the scene of a crime, places the safety of citizens first, and ensures that the criminals never get away. This has earned him the title “King of Heroes” for consecutive years. However, he is not concerned with status or being better than his associates - he goes above and beyond what is expected for the sake of the people more than anything. He even goes as far as patrolling the city by air every night. He is a team-oriented individual and a natural leader while on the job. He faces danger head-on, sometimes recklessly, in order to protect the people. He takes his duty very seriously; this is most evident after shamefully losing a fight to supervillain/terrorist Jake Martinez. In the fight, Jake defeats him effortlessly and defaces his helmet, then hangs him crucifix-style from a city statue as a symbol of the weakness of the city's Heroes. He not only failed to protect the people of Sternbild, but also put his friends at risk, for they had to fight Jake as well after his loss. His failure tarnished the two most important things to him: the safety of his friends and the civilians. This puts Keith into a state of melancholy that does not heal for some time.

As he is sponsored by several wealthy corporations and a star on a national television program, Sky High’s public image is very important. He always appears on the scene in a flashy display of aerobatics, and gives triumphant speeches while doing dramatic poses. He is extremely polite, and even has a tendency to ham it up at times. He is excessively gracious, evident with his catchphrase “Thank you, and again, thank you!” It may seem like he is playing up his role as the good guy in front of the camera, but in truth he is thankful and overly polite to anyone he meets. This often makes him awkward around his fans, or even average people when he is not assuming his alter ego.

Keith’s positive nature shines when he is around his friends. He feeds off of their enthusiasm, making him easily excited over the good fortunes of others. He is rarely ever in a negative mood, and when those around him are anxious or depressed, he is typically the first to chime in with a reassuring statement. He is always eager to please others. One of his best friends is his golden retriever, John. Seeing as how dogs are always enthusiastic around their masters, Keith feels a strong sense of satisfaction when taking him on walks or playing with him. His romantic relations, however, are shaky at best. He has the capacity to be a great romantic, but his nervousness around women results in his undoing. He always puts his friends first, and would never break a promise. Only once has he ever thought otherwise; in a situation where he had to choose between his life and that of his friends he hesitated only to contemplate the fate of the citizens. Ultimately, he is a caring and likeable person who has a kind word for anyone.

Abilities:
[Next: Abilties]

In Keith's world, a small percentage of individuals develop special powers. These people are known as Next. Keith's abilities manifest in the form of air control. He has the ability to fly, though without his jet pack and pressure-controlled suit, he is restricted to normal human limitations of altitude and velocity. He can also use wind to push objects or catch falling people. Lastly, he can collect a mass of high-velocity wind into a ball and launch it at opponents.

His powers have no limitation on time and usage. His body, especially his eyes, begin to glow blue when he uses his powers. His powers are affected by his mood, and so the strength of his air pressure changes day by day.
