The ghoul enjoyed its sparkler. I am fairly certain of that. I chose blue--not my preference, but I expected the color would go over well, and I was right. It wandered around atop Acherus for several minutes, waving the thing about, though it came when I called and did not complain when I took away the last few inches.

I think it was the combination of disrespecting authority (which may or may not have been valid but Alana is a follower so she fell in line) and also, she really wasn't sure who to side with

That made me grin. Haken is quite the junior knight (he was lowest of low, just barely over ghouls, when they were in the Scourge), but neither of the two acted like a more senior knight, so Haken figured he was.

It's kind of like a pack/animal thing. I pictured him stomping into the party and pissing all over everything. No one stopped him, so he acted the part of alpha dog.

Heh, I did see the note in your MRP, but if Alana noticed it at all it was quickly overridden by his more assertive/aggressive behavior and "Oh good here's someone to be in charge THANK GOODNESS". She's a natural follower, not leader, and Haken was acting (in her opinion) more properly Death Knight-ish and also she assumed he'd come from down below, soo.... xD

If she ever finds out that he actually isn't some higher-up knight she is going to be horribly embarrassed and feel like she owes Trae an apology.

Also, being assumed to be from below tickled me endlessly. It makes sense!

I'm hoping to RP him again sooner or later, so maybe she will find out. :D
