As you might know Nick and I are sick. I fucking hate having a cold. FOR REAL. And poor Nick, he sounds like a little piggy when he breathes, and I have to try to suck the snot out of his nose with this little rubber bulb thingie. Guess what? It does NOT work. Honey, my son won't be 4 until October, and I don't snot suck. All you have to do is teach them how to blow air out their nose around 18 months to 2 years. You just show them how. I always told me son, do this like mommy, and I would hold a tissue up to my nose and just blow air. Then when he would do it, I would plug one of his nostrils at a time while he blew, and then the other with the tissue up to his nose ( ... )

You're quite welcome, sweetie! Believe me, I was so clueless and confused with my first one. But you get used to that feeling, and over time you learn alot, and then you feel like a veteran. I remember the first time my son had the whole projectile vomit thing. He had nursed for a really long time, and he was so hungry, he just sucked it down. When I put him down to change him in between breasts, he just launched puke in a volcano. I flipped out! But I called my best friend, and she explained to me that when they're that hungry, the milk hits their little stomachs so hard that the acid churns it and makes it sour, and after they eat too fast like that, they urp it up. Still, quite a frightening experience for a first time mom.

How old is Nick now? And I'm sorry, I forgot your name! I'm Aprylle. And I'm due to have my daughter this Friday!
