Today was a public holiday, and I didn't really do much, in fact I did hardly anything at all. I caught a bus into town, couldn't see anyone in there, not even Avril who I was hoping would be in because she said she might be, alas. A friend died last Saturday. The night before I was talking to her, we were having a good old laugh and I wished her a good night as she went out clubbing. I feel content again.
