First off? Icon luff. XDD! While I still enjoy the newer games and have faith I'll like Wildfire/Rivals/Next-Gen/etc., I'll say this is coming from someone who meets Sonic extremist after Sonic extremist moaning and MOANING since "Sonic Heroes" that "ZOMG SEGA'S GON3 D0WN DA DRAIIIIIIIIN SONIX FINI4h3d!1!1!!11!" And what? SEGA's just as productive on games as ever and Earth still spinned on its axis no matter what people thought of ShtH? So maybe it's not the golden days as the 16-bit-era or have as much "Wow..." as both "Sonic Adventure"s did. Either way, these people have forgotten what it means to play video games: to have fun. Who on EARTH cares if Mario has to save Princess Peach again? What made him (and Sonic) incredible was that no matter how simple or "wonky" some concepts of the game may have, if the gamer has fun playing the game, that's all that really matters. So in "hard times", what I'm trying to say is

It's pretty hard to keep away from the fandom when you're on dA half the day. D: There's no avoiding it. And it's true that the fandom world does distort my vision of the "true" Sonic,even so,the "true" Sonic isn't even that good anymore to me.
