Two days...

Wow...two days chocked full of laughter, happiness, anxiety and despair!

First comes the laughter. The girl I tutor in cello invited me to her play Friday, and I must say, I enjoyed myself entirely...I wrote notes throughout the entire thing...let me share them with you!

-Converse ruby slippers
-Munchkin Country!
-It's Wizard of Oz on acid
-trailer trash scarecrow can't decide whether he's ghetto or a hick
-tin man is cyborg YMCA dude
-Cowardly lion looks like mix of Ed from cowboy bebop, Carrot top, and Richard Simmons
-NEVER! Oh, little green men make me smile inside
-Dorthy=blonde in disguise.."Why do they call it Emerald City?"
-Great and powerful Oz should be in Revenge of the Nerds
-OMG! Winged Monkeys singing to "We will rock you"!!
-Death by glitter! (ding dong the witch is dead)
-Such joyous choreography
-This is muy confusing; why does Glenda the Good say in the beginning that she can't bring Dorthy back to Kansas, but at the end she says, "I can take you home!"
-she didn't click her heels at the end...
-Outro music: Goodbye Yellow Brick Road by: Elton John!!!

So there you have it! My wonderful experience! Jenna (the girl I tutor) only had three lines, but it was still good!

After the play, I had to fly like a bat out of hell to meet Ben at my house. Ben is the brother of my friend Sam Faust who just randomly called me up one day, wanting to hang out...curious. But, I had alot of fun with him! We saw Click which was friggin' hilarious! Then he made me DDR, which I made a total fool of myself! But, I'm glad he made me do it, cause I need to learn to just break out of this security mold I wrap myself into. Then, we ate at Taste of New York, and just laughed and talked. We were kicked out of TGIFridays cause of the time and we needed to be 21. It was really cool that he asked me out! My mom says it was a date seeing as he paid for everything, but both Ben and I agreed we were hanging out. I was very nervous before hand, because I had only met him once before, and that was a while ago. So that night was amazing!

Now, the sad part...a friend of my mom died a few weeks ago and they had the memorial service today. I hate going to funerals mainly because people are total hypocrites for calling it a celebration of life, but are balling their eyes out. When I die (and someone please quote me on this) I want my friends and family to cremate me and take my ashes to the local pub, get drunk off their asses and actually CELEBRATE my life, not mourn that I died, cause you can't kill memories! Apparently the guy was Scottish seeing as their was a bagpiper to greet us at the entrance, a Scottish flag was draped over the front of the church, and his brother was wearing a kilt...can this be anymore Scottish???

Today driving back home after going out to dinner with my grandparents I saw the sky and it reminded me of the cover of American Gods, with that vintage looking sky and the spider lightning through the sky...beautiful!

well, I shall bid thee all farewell, I have orientation tomorrow for work and need as much sleep as possible!
