Today has been a bit...
Off? Can the word off really describe my day so far? Perhaps. Today was fine I mean!
I think I should have waited for it to come out on DVD. Sorry Carina, but I'm not watching it a second time! It was very disappointing. It had too much emotion and not enough action. And everything was stretched out, and the the so-called "major" surprises were kind of stupid. Parker Posey kept the humor flowing which was a plus, and Brandon Routh was a super hottie! Kevin Spacey was a better Lex Luthor (I was very skeptical about him) than Kate Bosworth was a Louis Lane. You disappointed me Kate! Overall, the movie didn't meet my expectations which makes me cry inside... :(
But, I was totally excited about the Spiderman 3 preview! It looks promising!!! His costume is the bomb, they bring back James Franco as either the Hobgoblin or another Green Goblin! And it just...AHKDHJSGLKHASDKSL!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But it's not the movie that's making me feel off. No, I think it's something bigger. Or a certain someone. And my dad lighting off his minature cannons (which the explosions aren't minor on any scale) isn't helping my nerves. I hate fireworks...let me elucidate on that. It's not the sight I hate, but the sound. They frighten me to death! Call it shell-shock if you'd like. I'm fine if I'm expecting them and they're right in front of my face. But, when they're all over and at random (4th of July is prime example of this) then I freak out; almost become paralyzed. Just let tonight be over!!!
But, my mom's comment made me very happy! She was outside and as expected there were alot of fireworks going on around our house and she, being the blonde she is, said, "It sounds like the 4th of July out here." I wanted to ram my head against the house. That, my friends, is what I have to look forward to when I grow up!
Well, I have nothing else to talk about, so I'm just going to bid you all farewell and hope I don't shite myself before the night's end.
P.S. Oh, btw. Looks like something's going on over seas..and it's not in Iraq for once. Check out the BBC for more info. CNN and other American new channels are unreliable.
