[Blog + Action] This is not angst I swear

You know, Lovino is not such a bad name.

[Legs propped up on the computer desk, Lovi leans back to admire that fine nifty sentence he's managed in the haze of what could've been his third or fourth cigarette. No, it wasn't such a bad name, and Antonio used it at lot...actually it was probably the only name he heard any more.]

I still haven't heard ( Read more... )

[Something to know about Antonio. He has always held fast to the idea of good hydration being a key to staying healthy. At least 8 glasses a day is normal, and he has never had qualms over tap water. It is easily available and he has never minded the taste, even in the least desirable of his apartments.

Really, it didn't take long at all to get to him.]

LOVI!

[He rushes through the mansion, a sieve and a mop clutched tightly in hand as he scours each and every room and closet for the Italian.]

Lovi, we have to go!

What? Go where?

[Just when he'd settled into being a hermit for the rest of his life, Antonio wanted to leave? To go into the world and run away from the top-security mansion and lazing around and not caring!?]

But we have a perfect life right here! Why the hell would we want to-
[He finally notes the sieve and mop]

What are you doing?

There's no time--We have to go now!!

[He grabs him by the arm, pulling urgently. There is no time. The sieve goes on top of Lovi's head.]

You're safer if you wear this helmet.

[He brandishes his mop bravely, looking this way and that before yanking the other to his feet and across the room.]

No matter what happens...I'll protect you, Lovino.

[It was at this time that Afonso had come over to pick up Lovino and Antonio for the dinner he'd promised by the end of the week. The ever-worried Portuguese was nursing a bottle of tapwater as he drove the way to the home, repeating things to himself--his name, don't forget his job, don't make any stereotype jokes...Italians and pizza. He wondered if Lovino had a moustache. That would be pretty funny.

Funny, he was starting to feel a little light headed. Giggling like a schoolgirl, Afonso paused outside of the door and had a lovely conversation with the lamp outside--although in his suddenly drug addled brain, that was actually his brother.

Toni! Tonii. You look nice tonight! I can't wait to meet your boyfriend, is he a mafioso or something! Cause he's--Italian. It's not safe! To...date an Italian! Did you get a new tie?

[Lovino is lost for words. Before he can even formulate a response he is tugged across the room, stumbling with one hand holding tightly onto the sieve and the other leading his body.]

...Protect...me?

Protect me from wha-aaaaaahhh!!

[The door flies open and they both tumbled outside, barely managing the coordination to side-step Afonso on the way.

Unfortunately timing is never on their side and their entrance occurs mid-way through Afonso's lamp-post discourse.
Lovino spins around, jerking the Spaniard along with him.]

You got a problem, creep?

[He is spun out of his momentum, jerked back by Lovino, whose strength occasionally found itself to be rather impressive.]

Lovi, get behind me!

[His eyes narrow as he draws the mop up, threateningly.]

Afonso...I never thought it would come to this. I didn't think I would have to fight even my brother. But I'm going to protect him, no matter what.

Tonio, did you get taller or something..~?

[Oh wait, maybe that's Toni. Okay. He turns and grins like a dope, wide and silly.] Irmãoo.~ Why are you carrying that around, you can't have an axe on the street silly. Hafta use it inside o...or sommat.

[OF COURSE THIS IS NORMAL, WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT. ]

I can take you on here or there. Don't test me, Afonso.

[The mop raises closer to his face, menacing.]

Nothing will keep us apart.
