just back from rehearsal. see, now normally i come home upset both of our rehearsals have ended with mr. d in a good mood. plus, i would also be upset since mr.d asked the flutes to stand up during our tintinabulations "solo" which is sooo stupid, but all three songs were absolutely FANTASTIC. even tintin which i hate

oh yeah, haley belofsky kissed katie. i'd make a guess she was a little drunk. sooo priceless.

tintin is a horrible medley thingy, but at least we can play it now and it sounds good enough.

tonight, despite mr. d being so hard on him, eric=love. his tone was so good, especially after all that work. i love the trumpet concerto.

I agree with you that Tintinabulations is "obnoxious." I also think it's "presumptuous." Whenever we play it i think to myself that not everyone really has the right to write music and publish it, and that J.S. Piedmont, or whatever his name was, was making a big assumption when he thought it was ok for him to write such a piece. Oh well.

we played tintin my freshman year!! also we did shepherd's chorus which i know chorus is doing. ahhh. it's been four years, they can repeat things now. weird. it doesn't seem that long ago but it's been an entire high school generation.
