winter

Today my friends and I drove down the freeway in the pouring rain. I loved it. The rain, that is. Not the fact that we couldn't see anything but fuzzy red brake-lights through the rain pelting the windshield. The cold and the water make it feel like winter, and winter is beautiful.

That's all I have for now. It's late and I have to go to work

We've been doing work on our backyard and the pool is a little drained and dirty. It was such a lonely image to see the chlorine booey bobbing up and down in the pouring rain as the water level in the pool slowly rose higher and higher.
