well i guess it was techicnally western illinois but whatever. first we went to davenport, Iowa to visit the ASL cong. there then went down to Macomb, IL to visit my boyfriend's old english congregation where he grew up. (home of western illinois university) is that anywhere near you?

We're Eastern Illinois, as in St. Louis, Missouri; I live in Missouri but go to a KH just across the river in Illinois. I know where Macomb is, tho. Oh, there is an ASL cong. in St. Louis -- do you do sign language? You should come sometime

I don't think the kind of caps lock exists that would truly express how I am feeling now but I'm bubbling over with this and I had to tell you . . . not even my parents know yet . . my mom is travelling back from west virginia and i am waiting till they can be together to tell them . . . . .

I got a call from headquarters yesterday. They want me to come to Patterson at the end of this month. Permanently.
Just now I'm working on keeping breathing.

AWESOME!! Yeah, you're right about the caps -- not cutting it. That is so great! What job will you be doing there -- maybe you don't know that yet. I'm thrilled for you! More hope for the single sisters! Maybe it's patience that they're looking for.

Sorry about the time lapse. My head has been whirling. I will be filling a staff nurse position at the infirmary, but possibly in housekeeping to start out with during entrance school . . . . April 7 will be my first day there . .
